Due to the growth in the number of commercial flights that is taking place worldwide, there is a growing need for systems (ATM-CNS) with greater capacity, efficiency and high levels of safety.

 

At European level, the SESAR project aims to modernise air traffic management in Europe and represents the technological basis of the Single European Sky, it is responsible for the development and implementation of the future common air traffic management system.
