We are currently looking for a experienced Instrumentation & Digital Acquisition System (DAS) Engineer to join our international aerospace team in Switzerland with a focus in supporting measurement, instrumentation, and data acquisition activities within the Iron Bird Test Facility (IBTF).
Main responsibilities:
- Establish, configure, and maintain data acquisition systems for test bench activities.
- Support the integration of data acquisition systems with data management and analysis environments.
- Define and implement instrumentation solutions for mechanical and electrical test rigs.
- Plan, execute, and document measurement and data collection activities.
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of instrumentation and acquisition systems.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with large-scale or distributed data acquisition systems.
- Background in instrumentation, measurement systems, or flight test environments.
- Strong understanding of measurement theory and data acquisition principles.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with a high level of ownership.
- Fluent English required, German is a plus
