Main responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the IBM DOORS requirements database, including the creation, documentation, and maintenance of DXL scripts and automation tools.
- Manage and enhance JIRA task management databases, workflows, and associated engineering processes.
- Evaluate and implement automation opportunities across JIRA, Mendix, and related engineering tools to improve efficiency and product development processes.
- Provide user support and guidance to engineering teams, lead engineers, project managers, and senior management.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations from JIRA data, tailored to departmental and executive management needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective requirements traceability, configuration management, and process compliance.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Extensive experience with IBM DOORS, including a strong background as a Requirements Administrator.
- Advanced proficiency in DXL (DOORS Extension Language), with demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain custom automation solutions.
- Proven experience in process definition, optimization, documentation, and change management.
- Hands-on experience with aerospace development and certification standards, including ARP4754B, DO-178C, and DO-254.
- Practical experience in Requirements Management and Product Configuration Management activities.
- Demonstrated ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with JIRA administration, configuration, and process management.
- Strong understanding of process optimization across multiple engineering and business systems, not limited to JIRA.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across engineering, supplier management, and project teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including follow-up activities, milestone tracking, reporting, and status communication.
- Mandatory English fluent, German is a plus
- Background in Complex Systems development (such aerospace or avionics) is a plus
