Main responsibilities:
- Development of novel design concepts for composite structural and non-structural parts
- Autonomous leadership from minor to major design projects and sub-projects as part of ongoing development studies and preliminary design activities
- Preparation of 3D models and 2D drawings for parts and assemblies with Siemens NX and Teamcenter
- Creation of component layup data with Fibersim
- Support to composite prototype manufacturing and development testing
Required qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of composite design in the aviation industry
- Excellent knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting within Siemens NX, proficiency in the use of Fibersim
- Fluency in English, good German spoken language skills count as an asset
- Highly committed mind-set with proven cooperation capability in an interdisciplinary team environment
- Good communication skills, from shopfloor production interactions through to management level presentations
