Main responsibilities:
- Design and development of cabin structures, cockpit structures, cockpit system installations and / or landing gear components for aerospace applications.
- Support concept design, development, and detailed design activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings using Siemens NX.
- Ensure compliance with Part 23 regulations and aerospace industry standards.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DfM) principles and support prototype development and integration activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including stress, manufacturing, systems, and certification engineers.
Required qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Aeronautical Engineering
- 5+ years of proven experience in aerospace structural and mechanical design
- Proficiency in Siemens NX software for 3D modelling and drafting
- Good knowledge of Part 23 regulations and aerospace development processes.
- Experience in concept design, detailed design, manufacturing support, and prototype development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Professional English is essential, German is considered a plus
