ANZEN Engineering, a Spanish company specialized in critical systems engineering for the aerospace and defense sectors, has been included in the FT1000 – Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2026 ranking, compiled by the Financial Times together with Statista. The list recognizes European companies with the highest growth rate over the past three years.
The company ranks 39th among the 1,000 companies analyzed; No. 1 in the Aerospace & Defense sector; and No. 1 among all Spanish companies identified and included by the Financial Times.
Founded in 2019, ANZEN has experienced continuous growth driven by technical specialization in the aerospace and defense sector and strong international demand, exporting more than 85% of its activity. The company has grown from €75,000 in revenue in its first year to reach 6 million in 2025, with projections nearing €9 million for 2026, maintaining annual growth rates between 50% and 100%. It currently has more than 70 engineers and a presence in Spain, Switzerland and the United States, as well as in Germany, where it recently opened a new office.
“The Financial Times recognition validates our model of solid growth, technical leadership, and a growing role as a strategic player in systems engineering for Europe and the U.S.,” says Pablo de la Cruz, CEO of ANZEN Engineering, who highlights that this growth has occurred “entirely organically,” without relying on external investment, a point specially acknowledged by the Financial Times.
“Appearing in the FT1000 is an international recognition of our team’s work and of the value we bring to aerospace and defense industry projects in Europe and the United States,” De la Cruz adds. “Our growth is based on technical excellence, innovation, and our contribution to strategic sectors, where safety, reliability, certification processes and advanced engineering are essential.”
ANZEN has consolidated its position as a reference partner in disciplines related to the development and certification of critical systems, including Safety & Reliability Engineering, MBSE/MBSA, civil and military airworthiness, cybersecurity in critical systems, and support for aeronautical software and hardware certification. The company participates in strategic programs, acting as a key player in major industry projects.
